OTTER Hippeknieps (goat knives) were once produced as robust working knives. Anyone holding one of the OTTER Hippeknieps in their hands today will recognise tradition, craftsmanship, and knife-making precision.

Local woods give the knife its charm. The plates and rivets are made of brass. The head rivet is ground flush with the grip shells.

This is the larger version of Hippekniep.

Note: Both knives are delivered WITH hole but WITHOUT leather straps.

OTTER knives have been manufactured and sharpened in Solingen, Germany, since 1840, using traditional methods of meticulous handcraftsmanship.
